Cybersecurity firm Quick Heal has warned of a rapidly spreading WhatsApp campaign targeting executives and finance teams. Hackers hijack trusted accounts to forward malicious files—disguised as routine business documents like financial reports or regulatory notices—to existing contacts. Because messages come from known acquaintances, users open the attachments, allowing malware to infect devices and automatically propagate further.
